I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and great start to the New Year. Praying for a more prosperous year than the last one for everyone. 2020 was a weird and confusing time and I’m hoping 2021 will be on the up.
Since I haven’t posted on here for December, I decided to join the two monthly favourites into one. This one is a bit more beauty focused so enjoy!
1. Maybelline x marvel concealer
Shade: 11 Tan
In summer I prefer a cream contour over a powder contour. This Maybelline x Marvel concealer has been my go to for contouring this month. It is pigmented, easy to blend and leaves a glowy bronzed finish.
2. clinique moisture surge face spray
This spray has been amazing for the summer heat. It helps replenish moisture in my skin and also works great as a primer before makeup. It helps set a glowy base which is what we all want in summer. Also works great on its own when your skin needs a pick me up in the hot summer months and I cannot wait to use it in winter when my skin becomes more dry.
3. essence eyeliner pen
Honestly one of the easiest eyeliner pens I have ever used. Super affordable, opaque and dries down without bleeding. If you are a beginner who needs an easy to use eyeliner pen or just looking for a budget friendly eyeliner, I definitely will recommend this Essence one.
4. sorbet salt scrub
I use this as a body exfoliator and I am in love with it. It has such lovely scent and leaves your skin feeling so soft. Does a great job at exfoliating the dead skin cells and make your skin feel brand new. Definitely recommend for those self care days. I have been reaching for this when my skin has been feeling hardened by being in the sun all day. So lovely.
5. clinique superdefense night cream
The best addition to my skincare. This night cream is slightly on the expensive side but in my opinion, worth every penny. A little goes a long way so you really only have to use a small amount. It leaves your skin feeling refreshed and moisturized. It also has anti-aging properties and helps the skin recover from pollution and oxidants. I wake up in the morning with a more glowy face. Definitely a splurge or treat yourself option!
